Welcome To Federal Lodge #5


As winter is winding down, Federal Lodge is getting busy, we have our
first EA degree on the 21 st for two candidates, these will be our first
mason made in Federal Lodge. The officers are working hard on their
Ritual so as to have a great degree for our new brothers. This would be a
great night for you to come to Lodge and see a first rate degree. I
encourage any EAs who have not progressed to come and refresh your
memory of what this degree is about.
At our February Stated we had a record turnout, every office was filled,
and we had 15 brothers on the sidelines. We welcomed back 4 Brothers
who have not been to Lodge in years and it was great to have them with
We have some great events planned for this month, of course we have
our monthly fellowship (Square and Compass) dinner with our Grange
friends on March 6 th . This month will be a Corned beef dinner. We have
another EA rehearsal on the 7 th , Dine a Round will be on the 13 th . We
have a new event especially for our Past Masters, and current Lodge
Officers on the 14 th . Our stated meeting will be on the 21 st , this will be
the EA degree including the EA History, and we will open Lodge at 6:30
pm to do degree work, and our monthly business meeting will follow the
degree work. Note the time change for the opening of the Lodge!
The Grand Lodge and Grand Master MW John Lobdell will host a
town hall meeting on March 11 th at Humane Lodge in Rochester NH.
This is a great time of fellowship and a chance to ask questions about
Masonry to the Grand Lodge Officers and the Grand Master.
